Devin completed his Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) at the University of Waterloo’s School of Planning in 2018. During his co-operative education terms, he has worked in private and public sector roles related to transportation demand management, transit planning, and transportation impact studies. He is working towards his Master of Applied Science (MASc) under the co-supervision of Dr. Chris Bachmann in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Dr. Dawn Parker in the School of Planning.

Devin’s research interests concern travel demand modelling and how people decide between transportation modes. He intends to mobilize his background in urban studies to explore patterns in transportation behaviour and develop tools in his research to quantify variables in mode choice decision structures.
