Xinyue Pi obtained her master’s degree of environmental studies in planning at the University of Waterloo in 2017. Her work focused on modeling the rental market using hedonic pricing methods. She has completed a dual degree undergraduate program in 2014 and received bachelor’s degrees in Geomatics from University of Waterloo and Wuhan University with a minor of Computer Science and a diploma of Excellence in Geographic Information System. She is currently working as the Engineering Technical Assistant at the Grand River Conservation Authority. Through the internship program at Waterloo, she has previously worked as the Student Bus Stop Analyst at the Region of Waterloo Grand River Transit.
